H-GLIDE
Low-Friction Bearing Pads for High-Performance Structures
H-GLIDE
H-GLIDE is an alternative bearing pad component – typically integrated within our Type ‘D’ Steel Bearing (HLD) range – engineered to deliver ultra-low friction and high load capacity for demanding structural applications. These bearing pads are designed for extreme load cases sites where controlled movement, high load capacity, and minimal maintenance are critical. This material is typically used in mining site applications due to its thermal and chemical resistant properties.
Key Features
- Exceptional Low Friction:
Coefficient of friction as low as 0.01–0.03, enabling smooth structural movement under load. Stick-slip is virtually zero. - High Load Capacity:
Engineered to withstand high vertical and horizontal loads with minimal deflection and wear rates. - Multi-Directional Movement:
Accommodates thermal expansion, seismic activity, and long-term structural movement in multiple directions. - Maintenance-Free Operation:
Self-lubricating sliding interface ensures long-term reliability with zero maintenance requirements.
Why Choose H-GLIDE?
All H-GLIDE bearing pads comply with relevant Australian and international standards including AS 5100, AASHTO, and EN 1337.
