Herculon Modified Type D Bearing – Steel Mounted (HLMD-P)”

HLMD-P is a modified HLMD bearing with a hot-dipped galvanised top steel plate with threaded studs which allow direct bolting to steelwork. While the standard HLMD bearing is designed for cast in-situ direct pour applications, HLMD-P is designed to suit structural steel installations where the top plate can be mechanically fastened to any UC, UB, PFC or other general steel sections. These bearings pads can be customised to suit a variety of compressive load and movement capacities (seismic and non-seismic).

Installation
